MCFB, Rural Officials Testify Against Expanding Airport Tax

A delegation of McLean County Farm Bureau staff, four local mayors and two township supervisors traveled to Springfield April 26 to testify in opposition at a House Committee hearing on SB 684 – a bill to expand the Bloomington-Normal Airport Authority to include all of rural McLean County. Spring Rural Route Safety Days

Seeing farm equipment up close allowed Ridgeview High School students to gain a better perspective on how to share the road safely at Rural Route Safety Day March 20. Trivia Night Raises Funds for Ag Ed

With a sports themed trivia night testing knowledge of athletics and agriculture, the McLean County Farm Bureau Foundation successfully raised more than $5,500 to support local ag education efforts.
