Golf Outing Brings in Dollars ‘Fore’ MCFB Foundation

More than 65 golfers hit the links to benefit local agricultural education efforts at the 2023 McLean County Farm Bureau Foundation Golf Outing held July 17 at The Den Golf Course in Bloomington. The Farm Bill took center stage in discussions on the recent Illinois Farm Bureau Leaders to Washington trip held July 11-13. Hoeft, Lemenager Selected for IAA Foundation Scholarships

Abigail Hoeft of rural Bloomington and Paige Lemenager of Hudson were each selected to receive a $1,000 Collegiate Farm Bureau scholarship from the IAA Foundation. Hoeft is a Forest and Resource Management major at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Lemenager is an Agriculture Transfer student at Lake Land College.
