For YL, farming is a hobby and career

McDonough County may not have a Young Leader program, but that didn’t stop 26-year-old farmer Kody Bowman from getting involved at the state level. “I’ve definitely learned the importance of the Young Leaders, and I have been very actively trying to get a program started in McDonough County since I started on the (state committee),” he told FarmWeek. Learn more about the Young Leader’s efforts and his hopes to carry on his family’s farm.
