About 130 runners and walkers participated in the 2021 HogWild event held Aug. 1 at the McLean County Fairgrounds.
Runners competed in a timed 5K Race and walkers took a 3K route around the fairgrounds.
All participants had the opportunity to enjoy a post-race porkburger prepared by McLean County Pork Producers.
Stephanie Brown of Downs completed the course in the fastest time and won the women’s division. Steven Immen of Towanda placed first in the men’s division.
The overall winners along with the top finishers in each age group received a pig trophy. Complete race results can be found at results.itsracetime.com/
All proceeds from the race benefit McLean County Farm Bureau Foundation and support the agricultural educational efforts of the McLean County Fair.
