The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved a disaster declaration for McLean County following historic flooding in June.
The SBA declaration allows eligible residents and businesses including agri-businesses/farms in the county to apply for low-interest, long-term loans.
McLean County will have a Disaster Loan Outreach Center, located at 201 E Grove St. Bloomington, available for residents affected by the flooding June 25-27.
Those needing in-person assistance can find help with applications at the Center starting at noon on Wednesday, July 28th. The Center will remain open through August 12th.

The deadline to apply for loan to cover physical damages is Sept. 24. The SBA’s economic recovery loan applications will be available until April 26, 2022.
Elected officials including Gov. J.B. Pritzker and all of Illinois’ congressional delegation, sent letters to the administration requesting the assistance.
